Inventory Coordinator

Rentex provides our clients with the highest quality rental equipment for their events. This requires both operational excellence and technical expertise. This dual focus is reflected in our two-sided organizational structure. The Quality Control department is focused on the quality of the rental products; Operations works on warehousing, trucking, inventory, logistics, shipping, and receiving.

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for inventory management at the local branch. This includes recurring weekly tasks, monthly cycle counts, and biannual full inventory. Though the Inventory Coordinator is not directly involved in fulfilling client orders, this role serves the daily business of the company, and ensures future success. Attributes and Abilities:

AREA % OF TIME PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Preparing New Assets 40% Receive new rental inventory and confirm it is what was ordered. Make equipment rental ready according to Rentex protocols. Inventory Assurance 50% Cyclical inventory as required by Rentex policy. Answering inventory inquiries from other Rentex locations. Regular counts and reorder of non­assetized items such as lamps, toner, etc. Audits to ensure physical inventory matches reported inventory. Assurance of complete kits for rental products that have companion products.

Reacquire assets when required.

Creatively resolve urgent inventory issues so that client orders can be fulfilled. Recommend inventory related company improvements. Manage biannual company inventory for the local branch. Collaborate with National Asset Coordinator to resolve problems and reallocate resources. Leadership 10% Set an example for other employees and build up the team. Actively contribute to the warehouse leadership team and regularly communicate with managers and supervisors. Share with other supervisors and managers the on call and weekend responsibilities. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full­time position. Days and hours of work are subject to change and may rotate. The needs of the business may dictate long hours and weekend work during high demand periods. Preferred Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent experience/education combination. Minimum of 2­3 years of related experience. Supervisory/management experience. Other Duties
