Senior Data EngineerHII's Mission Technologies division is seeking a Senior Data Engineer near Ft. Gordon, GA! As part of this mission, you'll contribute to high-impact GEOINT exploitation, analysis and reporting of all Advanced GEOINT and Special Access Program (SAP), and related disciplines and products produced by the Army GEOINT Enterprise. Candidates will be screened as opportunities come available and selected candidates will be contacted about an opportunity.What you will do:Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines that deliver timely, mission-relevant data to intelligence analystsIntegrate, cleanse, and transform Multi-INT and GEOINT datasets from diverse classified and unclassified collection systemsBuild and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to support analytic tradecraft, targeting, and operational planningImplement rigorous data quality, validation, and auditing checks to ensure accuracy and reliability for intelligence productsDevelop data models, schemas, and storage solutions optimized for high-volume, high-velocity intelligence dataAutomate data ingestion and transformation processes to reduce manual effort and accelerate analytic readinessCollaborate closely with intelligence analysts, data scientists, and mission partners to understand data requirements and deliver production-ready datasetsEnsure compliance with IC data governance, security, and metadata standards across all data systemsTroubleshoot complex data flow issues and improve resilience, performance, and operational throughputUtilize SQL, Python/Scala, cloud services, and big-data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) to support advanced analytics, AI/ML, and decision-advantage missionsAdditional duties as assigned or requiredWhat we are looking for:9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experienceExcellent written and oral communication, research, and analytic skillsExpert ability to manage personnel, requirements, and coordination of projectsExpert capabilities to research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings, multimedia presentations, and written reportsKnowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations: intelligence collection, fusion, analysis, production, and dissemination for intelligence databases and productsExperience utilizing programming languages such as SAS, R, Java, C, MATLAB, ScaLa, or PythonExperience accelerating large data transactions across industry-leading GPU architectures to answer analytic questionsExperience with assessments, enterprise data integration, governance, and metrics, including the application of metadata management techniques and ability to interrogate databases efficiently using SQLExperience with tradecraft and publicationAbility to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groupsAssimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce reports using data science focused libraries such as Pandas, Scikit, TensorFlow and GensimClearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearanceBonus points for...Masters in Data Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, Statistics, or related field AND 5 years current Intelligence Analysis experience; OR Bachelors in Data Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, Statistics, or related field AND 10 years current Intelligence Analysis experience; OR High School Diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience to include 10 years of current GEOINT Analysis experience AND 5 years of Data Analytics, Informatics, Statistics experienceKnowledge and experience with intelligence operations and in assisting with drafting expert assessments across operations priorities on behalf of the stakeholderSpecialized training from any intelligence collection and analysis school or certification to include GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC-F, GPC_IA-II, GPC_GA-II, GPC_IS-II, etc.)Knowledge and understanding of the National System for GEOINT (NSG) and Intelligence Community; knowledge of private sector data science/analytics, machine learning, and data visualization communitiesHII is more than a job - it's an opportunity to build a new future.
