Senior Financial Analyst

Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing high-level planning, financial analysis, and operational support for our Food and Beverage business unit. This role partners closely with business operations, corporate leadership, and cross-functional teams to analyze data, build reports, deliver insights on financial performance, and support strategic decision-making. Core work includes forecasting, ad-hoc reporting, financial modeling, and the ongoing measurement of key performance indicators to drive process improvements and financial outcomes.The ideal candidate combines financial acumen with data analytics to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations. Experience in Food and Beverage, Retail, or Supply Chain would be preferred. This role requires the ability to build and maintain multi-sheet financial models, partner with business leaders on executive objectives, and operate effectively amid ambiguity and evolving priorities. The analyst will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, have experience analytical software such as Alteryx, Domo, and Workday/Adaptive, and familiar with SQL and databases to pull information.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with business operations and cross-functional partners to drive financial outcomes by analyzing financial and operational data, building models, and delivering actionable insights and recommendations.Owns financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for assigned business area(s); coordinates the monthly and annual planning cycle (budget, forecast, and actuals) across finance and operations.Designs, develops, deploys, and maintains reports, dashboards, and financial models that enable decision-making and visibility across varying levels of leadership.Serves as a point of contact for business leaders and operators, answering ad hoc questions and translating complex information into clear business narratives.Identifies and drives process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains through unstructured problem solving in partnership with corporate management.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field4+ years of experience in financial, operational, or general business analysis, including FP&A experienceAdvanced experience in Microsoft ExcelStrong understanding of accounting and finance principles, including a breakdown of the income statementStrong analytical, decision-making, project management, and organizational skills, with attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging by audience and build relationships across teamsAbility to follow through on deliverables while balancing overlapping project timelinesPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting a specific business area such as Food and Beverage, Retail, Supply ChainExperience with analyses of menus, inventory, labor, COGS, A/B Tests, variancesExperience with financial modeling, valuation analysis, budgeting, and forecastingExperience with relational databases such as Snowflake, MS SQL Server, or MySQLExperience with SQL, SAS, Alteryx, or similar data analytics softwareExperience with data visualization tools such as Domo, Power BI, or TableauExperience with a financial planning system such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, or NetSuiteCuriosity and desire to leverage datasets to identify insights and tell compelling business narrativesAbility to navigate unstructured problem solving and ambiguous situations, with an aptitude and desire to learnComfortable with changing priorities and the evolving nature of a growing businessPayThis is a salaried position starting at $85,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $117,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.BenefitsAll team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:A fully subsidized membershipDiscounts on Life Time products and services401(k) retirement savings plan with company discretionary match (21 years of age and older)Training and professional developmentPaid sick leave where required by lawFull-time Team Members are eligible for additional benefits, including:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage Short term and long term disability insuranceLife insurancePre-tax flexible spending and dependent care plansParental leave and adoption assistancePaid time off, including 5 to 20 vacation days per calendar year (based on tenure) and paid sick leaveDeferred compensation plan, if the team member meets the required income thresholdLife Time is a place for everyone.
