Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse (RN) position at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill neonates in a level 3 NICU, with experience in ventilator management, high frequency jet ventilators, nitric oxide therapy, and other advanced neonatal procedures. The position offers a night shift schedule, serving as a vital component in neonatal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, caring for sick neonates
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilator management and high-acuity neonates
• Additional Information: The NICU is a level 3 unit with 41 beds comprising single, double, and triple rooms. Staff may be floated to the Well Baby Nursery as needed. The unit manages all aspects of NICU care except surgical and cardiac cases. There are no call requirements for this position.
