Title: Molecular Technologist - CLIA Laboratory (Arlington, IL) Location: Arlington, IL (Onsite) Job Type: Full-time About Us: First Bio is a CLIA-certified molecular diagnostics laboratory dedicated to advancing healthcare through accurate and timely testing. Position Overview First Bio, a CLIA-certified laboratory in the Chicago area, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Molecular Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in molecular diagnostics and a strong commitment to quality and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Perform molecular biology assays (qPCR) in a CLIA-regulated environment Follow SOPs, quality control, and quality assurance procedures Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records Assist with assay validation, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and laboratory safety standards Maintain laboratory equipment and reagents Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (undergraduate) in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field Prior experience in a CLIA‑certified laboratory strongly preferred Familiarity with molecular diagnostic techniques and instrumentation Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team Opportunities for professional growth and development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
