About the Position

Job Title: RN OR Circulator Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - RN Circulator who can position patients on the hospital bed, prep, position for surgery, and monitor all equipment. - CST who can perform orthopedic, plastic, and podiatry procedures. Description: Responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Collaborates with surgical team members to provide high-quality patient care. Assists in the preparation of the operating room. Maintains a sterile environment and adheres to infection control protocols. Monitors patients' vital signs and responds to any changes during surgery. Participates in the planning and implementation of patient care. Provides support to patients and families before and after surgical procedures. Engages in ongoing education to stay current with best practices in surgical nursing. Preferred candidates will have at least three years of experience as Circulators and CSTs. The unit performs various procedures including total joints, hip replacements, and plastic surgeries. Ideal candidates will be positive, hardworking, and willing to take trauma call. The staff has a strong tenure, with many members having over three years of experience. This is a highly competitive market for skilled professionals.
