Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Solid foundation in educational testing, psychoeducational assessments, and report writing
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, families, support staff)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with diverse student populations is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and evidence-based strategies to support student mental health
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing expertise to help identify resources and recommendations for student growth
- Document and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
