Production Scheduler

Compensation Details: The expected rate of pay for this position is between $53k - 65k Annual, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Plan and schedule all manufacturing departments to ensure that castings are made in accordance with customer requests. Perform timely and accurate entry of daily production data. Communicate with outside vendors and other departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of orders. Assemble daily production schedules for core, cleaning, shipping, and molding departments, coordinating all factors to maximize production capability. Maintain constant contact with supervisors of production departments anticipating and resolving any production bottlenecks to ensure smooth and efficient flow of work. Report unresolved problems to supervisor. Coordinate the production of all samples and controlled production runs on a timely basis. Compile backlog information and other data from master schedules for use in planning as required. Maintain contact with shipping department to instruct Shipping Specialist of daily production. Communicate with customers on their weekly requirements and inform them (daily if necessary) on any potential problems with missed shipments or problems with them getting their material on a timely basis. Personal attendance record should remain in compliance with company guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
