Financial Analyst – Capital Project Intake

Review, validate, and coordinate project intake requests for software and IT initiatives

Ensure submissions are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal capitalization policies

Route intake requests through supporting governance teams efficiently

Partner with project managers, finance teams, and IT stakeholders to resolve intake questions

Support accurate financial classification of project activities (Capital vs. Expense)

Maintain strong data integrity across intake tools such as JIRA and SharePoint

Assist with documentation and continuous improvement of intake and governance processes

3–5+ years of experience in project coordination, intake support, finance operations, or similar roles

Strong understanding of Capital vs Expense financial treatment

Experience supporting software or IT infrastructure projects

High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance

Ability to work effectively in structured, process-driven environments

Proven experience coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders

Background in PMO support, IT governance, or business analysis

Exposure to software capitalization or IT financial tracking

Hands-on experience using JIRA and/or SharePoint for intake workflows

Experience working within formal approval or governance frameworks

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field

Equivalent professional experience will also be considered

Competitive Compensation – $35–$45 per hour. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
