Staff Platform Engineer

To define and lead platform engineering strategy across complex, multi-environment cloud systems, the remote Staff Platform Engineer will manage infrastructure architecture, drive DevSecOps practices, and mentor engineers while ensuring platform reliability and security. Key responsibilities Define DevOps strategy and lead infrastructure architecture across multi-environment, multi-region cloud systems Own infrastructure as code strategy and standards while driving platform reliability and performance SLAs Lead complex cloud migrations and modernization initiatives, ensuring compliance and security best practices Required qualifications 7+ years of professional DevOps or platform engineering experience with a focus on leading complex initiatives Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration, along with strong IaC skills across multiple tools Deep cloud expertise across at least one major platform and strong CI/CD architecture experience at scale Experience with AI/ML platform infrastructure, including model serving and deployment Demonstrated leadership and technical mentoring experience within a team or organization Virtual Vocations Inc
