NEXT-GEN TECH MEETS THE OPEN ROAD: AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE SAFETY DRIVER

Location: In-person at Dallas, TX, United States.

Compensation: $25.00 USD Per Hour.

Status: This is a full-time, 1 year contract position (usually 40+ hours/week).

We are expanding rapidly and opening this role up to a wide range of backgrounds. You do not need to be an autonomous vehicle expert to apply. It is a plus if you already have knowledge of Autonomous Vehicles (AV) or safety driving practices, but if you don't, that is completely okay! Whether you are an experienced tech operator or a professional driver looking to transition into a clean, modern, technology-focused role, your everyday driving skills are highly valued!

If you have experience driving for Uber/Lyft, Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DoorDash, UberEats, local couriers, shuttles, or trucks , your real-world skills transfer perfectly.

What You’ll Do (The Mission):

• Operate Safely: Operate autonomous vehicles safely and lawfully to collect critical data on system performance and environmental factors.
• Monitor Performance: Monitor vehicle performance and conduct in-field testing to ensure operational safety.
• Collaborate: Interact professionally with riders, engineers, and company operations leaders to provide feedback and insights.
• Prepare for the Road: Prepare vehicles daily for in-field operations, including safety checks and system readiness.
• Stay Sharp: Submit detailed reports, remain alert and distraction-free, and always be prepared for the actions of other drivers and pedestrians.

Shift & Schedule Flexibility (New Location Launch!)

Because this is a brand-new expansion city, we need team players who can adapt to changing operational needs. Full-time schedules aim for 40 hours per week (mainly Monday-Friday with potential weekend work), but flexibility is required as weekly hours can range anywhere between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM depending on the needs of the business that week.

Available Shifts:

• AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• PM Shift: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Available Day Rotations:

• Monday – Friday | Tuesday – Saturday | Wednesday – Sunday | Thursday – Monday | Friday – Tuesday | Saturday – Wednesday | Sunday – Thursday

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• License Requirement: Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License .
• Driving History: Must have a minimum of 3+ years of continuous US driving experience (held a valid US driver's license continuously for at least the last 3 years).
• Driving Experience: Experience as an autonomous vehicle operator, driving instructor, motorsports racer, or other profession requiring a commitment to safety and excellent driving skills (including professional rideshare/delivery experience like Uber, FedEx, etc.).
• Clean Record: A clean driving record with no DUIs, drug, and/or alcohol-related offenses within the last 5 years.
• Navigation & Traffic: Thorough knowledge of local traffic regulations and daily comfort using smartphone navigation applications (like Google Maps or Waze).
• Adaptability: A willingness to work in various weather conditions and comfort driving on different types of roads.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Permanent work authorization is required, sponsorship/transfer is NOT available for this position.
