We’re seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Adesha Village team. As a DSP, you’ll work directly with adults with special mental health needs and intellectual and developmental differences, providing the support, encouragement, and assistance they need to build skills, increase independence, participate in their communities, and work toward their personal goals. Adesha Village , a program of Resources for Human Development (RHD) , is a therapeutic community providing personalized residential services, behavior support, community participation support, systematic skill-building, and life sharing to adults with special mental health needs and intellectual and developmental differences. Paid Training Programs CPR & First Aid Training Support adults with mental health needs and intellectual/developmental differences Encourage independence and personal choice Help individuals develop important daily living skills Support meaningful community participation As a Direct Support Professional , you will help ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals supported by Adesha Village while providing hands-on assistance, skill-building, and opportunities for greater independence. You’ll provide individualized support based on each person’s needs and goals while helping create an environment that promotes dignity, choice, growth, and community participation. Assist with activities of daily living, including meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, cleaning, shopping, and personal hygiene. Provide individualized assistance to help each person maximize independence and quality of life. Provide supervision and guidance based on each individual’s needs. Support individuals in achieving outcomes identified in their Individual Support Plans (ISPs). Provide trauma-informed and person-centered care. Skill-Building & Behavioral Support Support individuals in developing skills that promote greater independence and success. Reinforce individualized behavioral strategies and supports. Encourage positive decision-making, self-advocacy, and personal choice. Work collaboratively with program and clinical team members to provide consistent support. Help individuals practice skills in real-world residential and community settings. Community Participation & Relationships Encourage individuals to develop meaningful relationships and become active members of their communities. Support participation in recreational, social, and community activities. Provide transportation to medical appointments, community activities, day programs, family visits, and other activities as needed. Help individuals identify and access opportunities and resources within their communities. Support meaningful community participation based on each individual’s interests and goals. Health, Safety & Medication Support Maintain the safety and well-being of individuals receiving services. Administer medications as required after completing required medication training and certification. Monitor for crisis situations or potential concerns and respond according to established policies and individual support plans. Follow supervision requirements outlined in each person’s ISP or Behavioral Support Plan. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and organizational policies. Complete required annual and competency-based training. Work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure individuals receive consistent, high-quality support. Assist with emergency and on-call activities when requested. Passionate about helping others

• Comfortable providing hands-on support
• Comfortable supporting individuals with mental health and intellectual/developmental needs
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Basic computer and internet skills Ability to read, write, and complete required documentation in English Ability to complete required training, including CPR, First Aid, and other assigned training Ability to effectively support adults with intellectual and developmental differences and behavioral health needs Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Previous experience in human services Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs Full-Time

• $Schedules may include evenings and weekends .
• Ability to perform the physical responsibilities associated with supporting individuals in residential and community settings.
