Mechanical Assembler in Waukesha

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling mechanical products and subassemblies using a variety of tools and equipment while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform bench-type assembly processes to complete mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies Fabricate products using equipment such as hydraulic presses and riveting machines Use hand tools, air tools, and power tools to assemble components Read and interpret assembly prints and technical instructions Complete tasks according to manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications before moving to final stages Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all safety procedures and regulations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing or assembly experience Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with the ability to work well across departments Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office or similar systems) Ability to perform basic math calculations (fractions, decimals, measurements) Physical Requirements Ability to stand or walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods Frequent use of hands for handling tools and components Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or climbing Vision abilities including close, distance, and depth perception Work Environment Manufacturing/production setting Fast-paced with a focus on quality and efficiency Collaborative team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
