This is a Contracted position in the field of Live Broadcast / Sports / TV News / Technical Operations , located in Novato, CA . I run Zander Media ( an advisory and video production company. We work with clients across the San Francisco Bay Area and nationally.I'm hiring an up-and-coming videographer to help with a personal project filmed in my home studio in Novato. The Work We're creating personal content with me on camera. The project is a series of scripted video essays about adoption stories — the hidden histories of how a product or idea spread.You'll get real reps on professional cinema gear in a working studio. You'll help set the aesthetic of the show, using our array of lighting to build the set, and operate cameras during filming. A typical shoot runs 1 hour per day for 5 days, and we'll film 1-2 projects per month. (You can expect 10-15 hours/per month.)You don't need to walk in as an expert on our gear, but you should be comfortable around cameras, lights. Curiosity and a good attitude matter more than your résumé.
