The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience, strategic case management skills, and the confidence to independently manage complex matters from inception through trial preparation and resolution. Candidates who would like to be considered immediately should reach out to Kevin Ross with Robert Half in Philadelphia.Requirements• Independently manage a caseload of complex medical malpractice defense matters from intake through resolution • Defend healthcare providers and institutions in matters involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and high exposure claims • Handle all aspects of litigation including depositions, motion practice, written discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation • Develop litigation strategy and provide risk assessments and legal analysis to clients and carriers • Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda • Work closely with medical experts and consultants across numerous specialties • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and strategic guidance • Mentor entry level attorneys and contribute to a collaborative litigation team environment • Participate in business development, networking, and client development initiatives Qualifications • 7+ years of medical malpractice defense experience required • Experience representing hospitals, healthcare systems, physicians, and other medical professionals preferred • Strong deposition, motion, and courtroom experience required • Trial experience strongly preferred • Admission to the New Jersey Bar required; additional admissions in Pennsylvania or New York are a plus • Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters with minimal supervision • Excellent analytical, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills • Strong interpersonal skills with a client focused and proactive approach • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in long term detail oriented growth and client development Why Apply • Sophisticated medical malpractice and healthcare litigation matters • Strong platform for trial experience and detail oriented advancement • Collegial and well respected litigation team • Competitive compensation and bonus structure • Hybrid flexibility and long term partnership potentialJob typePerm
