Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Saturday–Monday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with variable call | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across a diverse range of surgical specialties including Urology, Neuro, General, GYN, Podiatry, Plastics, Ortho, Dental, and ENT
• Support patients and surgeons during significant traumatic injury cases, including open and complicated abdominal and/or chest cavity trauma procedures
• Anticipate and manage instruments, supplies, and equipment needs across varied OR service specialties
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 10-OR suite environment serving a diverse patient population of all ages
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Participate in call requirements as scheduled (approximately 4–5 shifts per month)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — must be issued by the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and OB/GYN surgical services
• Minimum 3.2 overall rating on skills checklist required for submission
• Must be able to clear and start within 10 days of offer to be eligible for rapid placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with both basic/quick laparoscopic procedures and complex, open surgical cases
• Comfort and confidence working in a Level III Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR platform
• Experience serving a diverse, multi-age patient population
