Provide platform to change levers and how does retirement profile look like etc. Financial calculator/scenario modeling. Provide a playground for customers. Completely front-end or experience-based team.


The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join our Wealth Solutions Engineering organization, focusing on our Financial Planning & Advice offering. The mission of this offering is to help customers explore and act on key financial decisions. You will play a crucial role in shaping Fidelity's digital presence.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's / master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with modern MV*/SPA JavaScript frameworks (Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS)
• Hands-on with API Design & Development and Microservices Architecture (Java, REST, NodeJS, Swagger)
• Experience with Test automation (Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright) Unit, Integration and Functional Tests
• Champion and advocate of Test-Driven Development, Unit testing using frameworks and tools like Jest and Jasmine
• Proficiency with AWS services for deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
• Have worked in an Agile software delivery environment in both a small team and independently.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work on production issues utilizing various tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
• Fully hands on with application builds and deploys using Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, GitHub, etc.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time.
• Proven technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
• Experience in implementing Microservices Architecture & building/deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
