divh2Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER) Mary Immaculate Hospital/h2pThe Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by:/pulliUtilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status/liliDetermining the priority of the patients problems and needs/liliImplementing clinical nursing interventions/liliHaving a highly diverse skillset/liliDeveloping and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes/liliEnsuring a safe and therapeutic environment/li/ulpEssential Functions:/pulliCollaborate with the interdisciplinary care team/liliCare for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high intensity setting as part of an interprofessional team focused on achieving the best individual patient and population outcomes/liliEvaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes/liliServes as point of contact for patients care coordination throughout hospital departments/liliProvides care to a broad spectrum of patients ranging from short-stay to trauma/liliAdminister medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organizations policies and procedures/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpEducation:/pulliGraduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing/li/ulpCertifications:/pulliCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)/liliBLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred at hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire)/li/ulpExperience:/pulliOne (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN)/liliRecent Emergency Department or Critical Care experienced preferred, not required/li/ulpTraining:/pulliEPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)/li/ulpBon Secours is an equal opportunity employer./ppAs a Bon Secours associate, youre part of a Mission that matters.
