Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Medical/Surgical units including Vent, Ortho, and General Med/Surg populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:9 nurse-to-patient ratio, supported by PCA Techs on the unit
• Deliver care to patients with diagnoses including ventilator dependency, orthopedic conditions, and general medical/surgical needs
• Adhere to weekend and holiday scheduling requirements as part of the rotation
• Float within Med/Surg units as needed based on staffing demands
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• COVID vaccination required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with ventilator-dependent patients
• Orthopedic nursing background
• Comfort working in a high-volume, multi-unit Med/Surg environment
