Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,950 - $4,680
• Location: Downey, CA 90242 - Downey Medical Center (Los Angeles area, Southern California)
• Setting: Hospital - Operating Room coverage only (OR CRNA, hospital anesthesia)

• End Date: December 5, 2026
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days

• EMR: EPIC (Health Connect) - EPIC experience preferred

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CRNA experience in the operating room required
• Board Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Current California CRNA license required
• Vaccination preferred (waivers considered)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a 1:3 MD supervision model (anesthesiologist supervision)
• Credentialing timeframe: Estimated 90 days from application submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for general, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, gastroenterology, healthy pediatric, head and neck, thoracic, and interventional radiology cases
• Deliver perioperative anesthesia services in the operating room (no labor and delivery coverage)
• Manage approximately 3-8 cases per day depending on room assignment and schedule
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing, and OR support staff in a team-based care model
• Document anesthesia care accurately and timely using EPIC EMR
