Information Technology Specialist

This is a public notice flyer for a grade (GS) 13-14 IT Specialist (Information Security) with NSMA. This opportunity supports the Information Systems and Technology (ISaT) Directorate, and is located in the Dallas, TX area. Responsibilities You will provide complex management, incident response, network security auditing, and data center management. You will serve as the principal staff advisor to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on all matters relating to vulnerabilities and threats. You will serve as Cyber Operations/Management Member and Service as a SME, providing guidance for the development of short- and long-term plans and policies as it relates to Computer Network Defense (CND). You will implement security controls aligned with NIST or federal cybersecurity frameworks, and supporting system ATO or RMF processes. You will serve as the customer focal point for the resolution of customer requirements and issues through the formation of liaison support with the Service Desk Tier I and Tier II staff. You will provide specific guidance to infrastructure personnel exposures and remediation requirements as it relates to Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM). You will perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications for this opportunity include, but are not limited to, the following: You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. You must take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
