Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. Ensures patient safety, monitors vital signs, and collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver quality care during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormal findings promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about medications, procedures, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• Hold an active Ohio license or a valid Compact State license in hand at the time of application.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS from an approved provider.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Provide a reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
