Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Mother/Baby unit in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring 2+ years of experience and active Oklahoma or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Mother/Baby unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x12s (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• 13-week contract
• Weekends required as needed by the facility
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or valid compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Mother/Baby or L&D nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for Mother/Baby patients
• Coordinates care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality
• Scrub color: black
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted but must be made up within the assignment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the 50-mile radius is required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled
• Facility has earned a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of 'A'
