This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operating Room RN with a strong background in thoracic and vascular procedures to join a dedicated, high-acuity team.


Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Schedule varies based on unit needs and may include late stays; block schedules are not available.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state (must be on file at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Required recent experience with thoracic and vascular cases
• Proven proficiency in endovascular procedures; strong circulating and scrub skills required
• Scrub experience and related certification must be verifiable at time of submission
• Prior travel nursing experience in the OR is mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Function as part of a thoracic/vascular specialty team in a high-volume (56 bed OR, both inpatient and outpatient capacity) Level 1 trauma facility
• Circulate and scrub for a full range of cases, with significant involvement in endovascular, cardiothoracic, and transplant procedures, among others
• Support surgeries spanning neuro, trauma, general, ortho, plastics, GYN, urology, ENT, robotic, and hybrid procedures
• Care for adult patients (no pediatrics; separate children's hospital OR)
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidiscipline teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate flexibility to float within the main OR as needed
