Job Description – District Manager – TEAM Wireless Verizon Stores Reports to Regional Manager. Benefit Package includes: Health/Dental/Vision Insurance 401(k) Program Generous Paid Time Off Policy Employee Discount Program Paid Training Company Vehicle Company Credit Card Position Overview: The District Manager’s role and responsibilities can be divided up into three distinct areas: Sales growth, Coaching & Mentorship, and Operational Management. Sales Growth Drive sales growth as well as key performance metrics through coaching, communication with staff, and motivation of wireless consultants and store managers Utilize and teach how to effectively use sales tools to drive results in the district Provide sales forecasting to company leadership Assist Store leadership in building a successful team Execute strategies to drive SMB growth (outbound calls, Chamber of Commerce, etc.) Create a culture of using CRM systems (customer relationship management) to increase traffic in stores Coaching & Mentorship Communicate company initiatives and sales strategies to maximize profit Assist Store Managers with weekly sales meetings (execute and drive initiatives) Identify and mentor employees for growth within the company Develop future TEAM leaders Deliver and oversee performance improvement plans Operational Management Attend regular calls with vendors, partners, and Verizon Monitor store condition and recommend maintenance/repairs where necessary Oversee monthly Store Audit and provide guidance to store leadership Communicate with local agencies as necessary (store openings, events, etc.) Provide sales floor shift coverage if necessary (i.e., store not staffed to minimum schedule requirements) Compliance with company policies to protect and manage cash and inventory Proactively monitor sales integrity and correct sales techniques that are not in line with company values This Job Description may include but is not limited to the duties, responsibilities, and compensation outlined above whereas the company reserves the right to change or alter these duties and responsibilities either verbally or in writing as deemed necessary.
