Fire Alarm Technician

Essential Qualifications Valid driver’s license for daily travel between customer sites. Strong communication and organizational skills for excellent customer service. Experience with electrical theory, or a willingness to learn, is a must. Ability to program, test, inspect, and service various fire alarm systems. Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, with a commitment to adhere to them. Hands‑on experience in wire pulling, conduit installation, and reading fire alarm drawings. Willingness to cover on‑call hours, including nights and weekends, on a rotating basis. Ability to withstand heights and climb ladders comfortably. High school diploma or equivalent; Electronic Trade School training and/or NICET I or II certification preferred. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform tasks that include bending, reaching, climbing, and walking.
