Our business is growing and we are looking for a Master Technician.

Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities

Perform removal and replacement of transmissions (automatic & manual) on domestic and import vehicles

Diagnose transmission issues and determine proper repair or replacement solutions

Disassemble, inspect, and reinstall transmission components as needed

Perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with shop and manufacturer standards

Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify repairs and ensure proper operation

Perform quality control inspections before returning vehicles to customers

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, shop, and equipment

Assist in maintaining proper shop workflow and efficiency

Report parts shortages or inventory issues to the Center Manager

Follow all safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment

Keep customer vehicles clean and protected during service

Assist in training and guiding junior technicians when needed

Skills & Requirements

Strong experience in transmission removal & installation (R&R)

Knowledge of electrical diagnostics, sensors, and scan tools

Ability to diagnose drivability and transmission-related issues accurately

Must have a complete set of professional-grade tools

Experience with domestic and import vehicles (early & late models)

Minimum 5 years of experience (Master Technician level preferred)

Valid Driver’s License

High School Diploma or GED

Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Maintain a clean and professional work area at all times
