Electrophysiology Opportunity In Central North Carolina
Seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible electrophysiologist to join a highly collaborative team. The position is available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with shared call. Clinical responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient services. Available services include Watchman implants, TAVR, ASD/PFO closure, Impella, and a CTO program. Current and projected volumes support four electrophysiologists and three electrophysiology labs. With one electrophysiologist physician retiring in early-mid 2025, we are looking for the next electrophysiologist to start in Summer 2025. The facility includes five cath labs and two electrophysiology labs, with one cath lab being converted to a hybrid OR suite. Hospital employment with a physician-led, multi-specialty group that consists of six general cardiologists, two interventionalists, one electrophysiologist, and three cardiothoracic surgeons. Two other electrophysiologists in a private group in the community work in collaboration with the hospital-employed team. Requirements: Experience with implantation of pacemakers and ICDs including biventricular devices and leadless pacemakers, ablation of all atrial and ventricular arrhythmias including left-sided approach, and AF ablation, trained in Watchman procedures or be willing to train, training in lead extraction preferred, unrestricted NC medical license, NC DEA, and ACLS certification through AHA.
