Sr. Systems Engineer - QUAL Integration & Test

Date Posted: 2026-03-18 Location: Tucson, AZ (3350 E Hemisphere Loop, BLDG M09) Position: Senior Systems QUAL Integration & Test Engineer (Coyote Effector) Security Clearance: DoD Secret; interim clearance required. Role Overview In Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) at Raytheon, you will design, develop, and test solutions for military platforms, ensuring all components meet E3 specifications before delivery. What You Will Do Verify development systems for qualification testing per MIL-STD. Perform qualification test planning: develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation; execute testing in simulated and real‑world environments; support flight test preparation. Integrate systems: collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluate functionality and impact. Create and edit documentation for formal testing reviews (TRR, CTS, TDR packages). Troubleshoot and analyze: identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging; document and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders. Travel up to 10% for field test execution. Qualifications You Must Have Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Experience with QUAL test planning and/or execution. Experience with test‑related reviews (CTS, TRR, ESRB’s). Ability to obtain an interim Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start. Qualifications We Prefer Hardware and software integration experience, preferably on military platforms. Lab environment experience, electrical troubleshooting, and use of lab equipment. Experience with Qualification MIL-STD testing methodologies. Experience working with customer and industry partners. Ability to create integration and verification strategies/procedures. Excellent written and oral communication skills, knowledge of MS Office, and experience preparing and presenting briefing material. What We Offer Competitive salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
