Senior Database Administrator

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop blueprints for all data repositories pertaining to function and domain.
- Translates business requirements into long-term data architecture solutions.
- Assists with delegating project and operational activities while maintaining strategic direction.
- Manages technical approach to project components on moderately complex to complex issues.
- Monitors and performs maintenance of the Epic Operational Databases.
- Structures project plan, schedules, and sequence of activities for Epic environment upgrades.
- Establishes and maintains technical standards, departmental procedures, and other technical documentation, as required.
- Provides guidance, direction and assists with organizing the activities of fellow system and database administrators within Epic operational, analytic, and client systems environments.
- Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only.
- Leads others in same work performed (does not supervise).
- Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
- Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
- Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above. Patterns Hiring, Inc.
