Location and Position Summary Location: Avera on Louise Health Campus Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Day/Evening/Weekend/Holiday Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: $22.50 - $31.50 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience) Position Highlights: Open to experienced LPNs Brief Overview Working within the endoscopy unit, helping room patients, helping with procedures and recovering patients post procedure. Day shifts What You Will Do Prepares the room for procedure in a timely fashion, including patient and equipment positioning. Maintains efficiency in handling equipment at physicians request during procedures. Verifies specimens with Physician and Registered Nurse. Achieves and maintains a working knowledge of equipment and tools; cleans and maintains equipment. Keeps stock and equipment inventories, including requisitions or forms for maintenance and repair. Collects data and conducts a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient. Participates with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient-centered healthcare plan; communicate and collaborate with patients and members of healthcare team. Advocates for the best interest of the patient and provides for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly. Assists with health counseling and teaching. Implements, delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan of care and assist in evaluating the response to interventions.
