About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Call requirements: as needed by unit - Must be comfortable caring for COVID patients - Tobacco and fragrance-free facility Description: SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Hours are 0700-1730. Will work 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Day off during the week will vary. There is an on-call requirement for this position. Clinical screening will be conducted to determine candidate fit. If clinical pass and within guidelines, candidate will be sent for final decision. Manager will conduct interviews. The invasive cardiology department consists of procedural labs as well as a prep and recovery area. The team performs a variety of cardiac procedures with skilled professionals. The facility can handle cases from diagnostics to complex interventions. Advanced treatment options such as Impella and ECMO are available. A variety of electrophysiology procedures are performed, including implants and ablations. The unit is evolving to offer additional structural heart procedures. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates should have experience in circulatory procedures, monitoring, and catheterizations. Candidates will be required to pass a basic EKG assessment within 72 hours of signing the contract. Candidates must provide proof of the required certifications and relevant experience.
