Members of the Gemini team thrive in a culture that is anticipatory, agile, and schedule-driven; with a sense of urgency and a drive to succeed.Position: Data Analyst, Congressional Affairs SupportLocation: Pentagon, Arlington, VirginiaClearance: Top Secret / SCIEducation: Bachelor's degree in data science, data analytics, computer science, or similar quantitative field; or equivalent experienceOutcomes: The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes the first year in the position:Utilizes statistical methods and analytical tools to interpret complex data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies which leads to positive Government performance feedback.Responsibilities:Support ongoing USSF Congressional Affairs staffing efforts.Support with supporting ongoing USSF stand-up, implementation planning efforts, support Space Force culture design and enablement related to Congressional Affairs functions.Plan and develop knowledge management (KM) in Palantir Foundry, Microsoft SharePoint, and CRM systems.Develop and maintain Extract Transform Load (ETL) pipelines.Maintain and upkeep KM systems.Develop and maintain dashboards and applications.Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to present findings to senior Department of the Air Force (DAF) officials and other stakeholders, translating complex data into understandable formats.Track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of Congressional engagements and business processes, and recommend improvements based on data insights.Support development and implementation of the DAF's Congressional Engagement Strategy.Qualifications:Top Secret / SCI security clearance bachelor's degree in data science, data analytics, computer science, or similar quantitative field.10-15 years of experience with data analysis and data architecture development.Knowledge of DevOps principles, data governance, and data QA/QC.Palantir Foundry experience and/or proficiency with other data operating systems (Snowflake, Databricks)Experience building automated CI/CD ETL pipelines.Skilled in GIS and geospatial data analysis.Proficiency with SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark).LLM integration (embedding, RAG) experience.Experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools.Analytical abilities to interpret data and derive actionable insights, along with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Highly Desired Requirements:Experience leveraging cloud-based databasing, ETL, and data visualization solutions to support data-driven decision making.Degree in data science, data analytics, computer science, or similar quantitative field.Palantir Foundry certification.Knowledge of MLOps principles.Proficiency with supervised and unsupervised ML (scikit-learn, PyTorch).Typescript proficiency.Proven experience developing well-designed reports and briefings for executive leadership.Legislative/Congressional affairs experience.We seek:Highly-motivated self-starters that have Subject Matter Expertise in AI systems and organizational business models to obtain ongoing efficiencies in Congressional Affairs staffing processes.A general understanding of Department of War (DoW) staffing procedures involving task management systems and other systems to effectively find efficiencies in managing specific USSF programs and initiatives.Resourceful individuals with extraordinary intellectual capability and the ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts.Individuals who have a "let me try" attitude and are resilient, present an opinion/position, justify it, and then accept whatever decision is made and charge forward.Individuals who view criticism as an opportunity to improve ("let me try again") as part of a Team focused effort supporting the advancement of cutting-edge space operations.Individuals who think and create, enhancing the company with a steady flow of fresh ideas, perspective, and energy to meet ever evolving DoW requirements tied to national defense.Highly proficient with using an array of Microsoft office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams) required.Direct Inquiries and Resumes to: Andrew Ackley Corporate Recruiter Gemini Industries Inc.
