Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: West Salem, OR
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 8-hour day shift, with 36 hours guaranteed and the expectation of working up to 40 hours. Overtime must be approved by the director before any hours are worked.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with outpatient orthopedic experience. New graduates and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. The position is focused on providing high-quality therapeutic care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
