PER DIEM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year Schedule: 7.5 hours a day Daily Rate: $125/day Position Summary Lakeland Regional High School is seeking a reliable and dedicated Pier Diem Substitute Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Per Diem Substitute Teachers will provide daily classroom coverage for absent teachers and other instructional needs throughout the school year. Primary Responsibilities Provide classroom coverage for teachers who are absent. Follow lesson plans and deliver instruction as directed. Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment. Maintain classroom routines and expectations. Complete duties and responsibilities as assigned by the building assistant principal or designee. Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel. Maintain confidentiality of student and school information. Qualifications Valid New Jersey Substitute Teacher Credential or appropriate New Jersey instructional teaching certificate required. Prior classroom or school experience preferred. Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students and staff. Successful completion of all required criminal history background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
