Maintenance Superintendent - Montclair NJ

Overview Maintenance Superintendent — Live on-site position. We are seeking a hard-working technician to maintain apartments and the community, with working knowledge of electric, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows and locks. This role lives on the property and is responsible for repairs, upkeep and maintenance of the community. We offer competitive wages, paid vacation and sick time, and 16-25 paid holidays per year. An apartment may be available as part of compensation. Responsibilities Complete maintenance requests within the apartment community Repair and install appliances; perform tile work, drywall work, HVAC repairs, and other carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, refurbishing, cleaning, waste removal, and sewer maintenance Snow removal Coordinate and work with contractors and all employees Carry out a preventative maintenance program under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor Be available for emergency repairs and after-hour on-call duty as required Operate company vehicles with a valid driver\'s license (e.g., golf carts, quads, trucks) Use maintenance tools safely and effectively About JCMLiving Get to know our company and grow your career with employment at a JCMLiving community.
