Nurse Practitioner

Pain Specialists of America (PSA) is a Texas-based, multisite comprehensive pain management company with over 15 locations. We are seeking a talented Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our Round Rock location. Essential Functions Perform physical exams and patient observations. Record patient medical histories and symptoms. Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans. Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests. Detect changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary. Administer medicines and treatments. Evaluate responses to treatments and medications. Consult with healthcare professionals. Train patients and families on managing pain. Manage health problems and coordinate health care for patients in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care. Must have RN licensure in Texas and be board certified by either ANCC or AANP. Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but not required. Experience and credentials as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (required).
