Duties:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol

- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately using a POS system

- Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere

- Assist with food service and handling as needed

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred

- Knowledge of brewing techniques and types of beers is a plus!

- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS use

- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures

- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Strong communication skills to effectively take orders from customers and communicate with kitchen staff

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the establishment

Must have or obtain Responsible Beverage Server certification and Food Handlers certification.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: minimum wage to start + tips

Expected hours: 10 – 25+ per week
