Job Title : Dental Assistant

Location : Vacaville, CA

Schedule : Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Position Overview :

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to support our dental team in Vacaville, CA. This role is responsible for assisting dentists during procedures, preparing patients for treatment, and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical workflow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to patient visits
• Take and develop dental X-rays in accordance with safety regulations
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Greet, prepare, and educate patients on procedures and post-care instructions
• Accurately document patient information, charting, and treatment updates in the EMR system
• Manage inventory, restock supplies, and ensure operatory readiness
• Collaborate with dental providers and front office staff to support patient flow and scheduling

Qualifications :

• Dental Assistant certification required (California-compliant)
• X-ray certification required
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Vacaville, CA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
