Associate Attorney

THE702FIRM seeks an experienced attorney who excels in the courtroom and possesses the strategic mindset needed to maximize client recovery. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters from initial consultation through trial, with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of personal injury cases including client intake, case evaluation, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to maximize client recovery
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Draft and argue substantive motions, including motions for summary judgment
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare persuasive legal memoranda
- Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel to secure favorable settlements
- Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals
- Contribute to business development efforts and firm marketing initiatives
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Nevada Bar membership
- 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of Nevada civil procedure and personal injury law
- Exceptional deposition and trial skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with superior analytical and organizational skills
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal abilities
