Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Biddeford, ME

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shifts: 0645-1915 and 1845-0715

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg Telemetry to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop a plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Maine RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
