Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking an Entry-Level Purchasing Project Manager that will serve as a main point of contact for Purchasing related activities within assigned Launch Programs and Engineering Changes. Working closely with Engineering, Launch PM’s and internal teams. The primary focus is coordinating and tracking key Purchasing Deliverables to ensure it is aligned with Program timing, budget and objectives.The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can balance multiple initiatives and works great under pressure and tight deadlines.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Support purchasing activities for assigned Launch Programs, Engineering Changes (EC’s), New Development Opportunities from start to finishTrack Purchasing Program milestones and deadlinesAssist buyers / managers with day-to-day activities (quotes, pricing, delivery schedules, etc.)Attend Launch Programs, EC’s meetingsCommunicate regularly with Buyers, Launch PM’s, Engineering, Operations, Finance teams and other cross functional teamsIdentify risks (delays, roadblocks) and help develop solutionsKeep accurate records / documentation for all Launch Programs and EC’sSupport process improvements in Purchasing and Project TrackingREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)0–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or project coordinationBasic understanding of procurement or supply chain processesStrong organizational and time management skillsGood communication skills (written and verbal)Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets (Excel or similar tools)Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same timeTRAVEL:5%-10%PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Internship or co-op experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or ManufacturingExposure to ERP systems (such as SAP, QAD or Oracle)Basic understanding of contracts and supplier negotiationsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ERP/procurement systemsStrong interpersonal skillsPurpose:Building A Better EverythingWe build a better culture by putting people before profit, leading for purpose, passion and performance, and creating an environment devoted to an exceptional experience for our customers and people.
