Customer Logistics Manager

Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness Lead and develop the customer service team, setting performance expectations, coaching staff, and promoting a customer‑first culture Oversee order management processes, including order entry, tracking, issue resolution, and on‑time delivery performance Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory teams to ensure seamless service execution Manage customer onboarding, including system setup, SOP development, and service‑level alignment Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction Proactively identify service gaps and implement process improvements to enhance the overall customer experience Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and urgency, ensuring timely resolution and follow‑up Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in customer service or account management within a 3PL, logistics, or warehouse environment Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast‑paced operational setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and customer portal Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem‑solving capability Preferred Skills Experience managing key accounts in a multi‑client 3PL environment Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a dynamic, high‑volume setting Customer Relationship Management Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution Operational Collaboration Type of Person Energetic, outgoing, and naturally builds rapport with a wide range of personalities Genuinely enjoys working with others and thrives in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment Highly motivated, self‑driven, and takes ownership of both customer success and team performance Customer‑first mindset, consistently advocating for the customer while balancing operational realities Strong coach and mentor who leads by example and inspires their team to deliver exceptional service Excellent listener who seeks to understand customer needs and translates them into actionable solution Positive and resilient, maintaining composure and professionalism in high‑pressure or escalated situation Proactive communicator who anticipates needs, follows up consistently, and keeps stakeholders informed Adaptable and solution‑oriented, comfortable navigating change and continuous improvement High emotional intelligence, with the ability to manage relationships, influence outcomes, and build trust at all levels Fast‑paced warehouse and office environment Regular interaction with cross‑functional teams and external client May require occasional extended hours based on operational need Benefits Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State Benefit offerings for full‑time employment include medical, dental, vision, commuter benefits, and a 401(k) plan offer Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
