We are looking for a qualified Software Engineer to join our dynamic software development team in Tucson, Arizona. The duties performed in this position include developing user interface screens for the EAGLE Maintenance Management Information System, creating custom reports, creating dashboards, and translating user requirements into new software solutions. As a software engineer you will work with customers and team members to troubleshoot and solve problems, develop new features and capabilities, and automate business processes. Occasionally the employee will assist with system documentation, legacy data conversion, and testing. You will gain valuable, real-world experience designing and developing commercial software that is used all over the world!

This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule. Willingness and ability to travel is required for this position. The Hybrid role will be mostly from home and on site as needed up to 30%. Average is 5 days a month.

• Participating in the MMIS AGILE Scrum team
• Creating well designed and usable software
• Graphical User Interface design
• Database design
• Unit and Integration Testing
• Participating in team retrospectives
• Providing best-in-class customer support
• Working with customers to solve problems

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), such as Computer Engineering or Computer Science, obtained prior to start
• Experience developing web applications
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Javascript, Python, C++, or C#

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with relational database management systems
• Knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
• Experience Javascript, Ajax, Jquery and web page development frameworks, C++
• Experience ASP.NET(Core) and Entity Framework
• Experience with API development and RESTful services
• AGILE Software Development Experience
• Experience with Oracle Relational Database Management Systems is a plus

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
