• Patient Types: Medical Surgical and telemetry patients, including post-operative, sepsis, CHF, COVID, GI surgeries, and more

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a newly established unit
• Monitor patient status, evaluate responses, and administer treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RT, OT, PT, and others
• Support wound management, IV therapy, and pain control procedures
• Pass EKG competency exam prior to arrival
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Float across various Med/Surg units as needed

What You Need
Required:

• Active RN license in Louisiana or applicable state
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time acute care RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam
• Strong wound care, IV, and hemodialysis catheter skills

Preferred:

• Experience in telemetry or medical-surgical units
• Flexibility with float responsibilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
