Pay: $38.00-$45.00/hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client, a leading commercial refrigeration and food equipment service provider, is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Field Service Technician to service customers throughout Connecticut.

This is a hands-on field role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration and ice equipment .

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration and ice machines .
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues.
• Determine repair solutions and complete service work efficiently.
• Coordinate replacement parts, ordering, and installation.
• Work directly with manufacturers on advanced diagnostics and complex repairs.
• Complete accurate work orders and service documentation.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, parts, and inventory.
• Clearly communicate repair needs and service recommendations to customers.
• Deliver professional, high-quality customer service at each location.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• 5+ years of refrigeration or related commercial equipment experience preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• Strong refrigeration, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems and work independently in the field.
• Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical service work.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Commercial refrigeration systems.
• Ice machines and related food-service equipment.
• Gas, electrical, plumbing, and/or steam systems.
• Manufacturer-level troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Previous field service experience.
