Supports Clinical Director in upholding and promoting KE's values and philosophies relating to innovative, efficient, and superior eye care.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:* Responsible for performing all aspects of patient care within the clinic including patient exams and consultations, surgery treatment plans and post-operative care in accordance with KE's standards and efficiency and demonstrates satisfactory knowledge and clinical judgment.* Efficiently delivering patient care through constant evaluation of patient's needs (i.e. performing specific tests as defined by patient concerns, etc.* Acts as a resource for all information; assists with training, managing and motivating all clinical staff.* Trains and develops interns/residents to ensure KE quality and efficiency is achieved in order to maintain a pipeline of optometric talent.* Facilitates the Clinical Director in creating and sustaining a highly accountable and inspired work environment where employees can deliver exceptional customer service and patient care.* Trains and develops new optometric hires to ensure they provide top-quality patient care at an efficient pace and assimilate into KE's philosophies as quickly as possible.## Qualifications**Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)*** Doctorate of Optometry* Current state licensure**PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
