About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of young children.

Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

Collaborate with parents and staff to build strong relationships and support each child’s learning journey.

Maintain a safe and organized classroom that promotes exploration and creativity.

Provide mentorship and guidance to assistant teachers and support staff.

Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and implement them in the classroom.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

AS degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or CDA.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a lead teaching role within an early childhood setting.

Valid state teaching license or certification in early childhood education.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.

Passion for nurturing and guiding young learners in a supportive environment.

Ability to create and maintain a positive classroom culture.

Knowledge of child development principles and early learning standards.

First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
