Job Title Phlebotomist – Patient Service Center Work Schedule Variable Schedule: Monday thru Friday 6am to 4pm with rotating weekends. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Minimum age 21 years.
