Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent required.
• CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent certification as a medical technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist required.
• Must meet CLIA '88 requirements for performing high complexity testing as defined in the Federal Register, Vol. 57; #40, Subpart 493.1489.
• Experience in microbiology required.
• Must be able to work solely in microbiology.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0830-1700
• Shift days: Tuesday-Saturday
• Weekend requirement: Saturdays
• On-call requirement: No
• Floating requirement: May need to adjust schedule according to candidate's skill set.
